Qinshan Nuclear Power Extension Phase II Domesticated Ring Crane

On July 25th, Taizhong Group made great achievements in the field of large cranes: the first domestic production for Qinshan Nuclear Power Phase II Extension Project 190 tons of ring crane factory acceptance ceremony, will be delivered to Qinshan nuclear power phase II expansion project. The successful manufacture of the equipment fills the gap in the field of ring cranes for nuclear power plants, marking that too heavy has become one of the few enterprises in China that fully master the key technology and manufacturing technology of ring cranes for nuclear power units.

The following morning, in Taizhong Group factory held a grand ring crane factory acceptance ceremony. Chen Qingtai, member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and deputy director of the Economic Committee, Jin Shanzhong, vice governor of Shanxi Province, Yu Jianfeng, deputy general manager of China Nuclear Industry Group Company, and representatives of Shanxi SASAC, the Development and Reform Commission, the Economic and Trade Commission, the State Nuclear Power Technology Company, and the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association attended the ceremony.

The second phase expansion project of Qinshan nuclear power is based on the second phase project of Qinshan nuclear power, which is regarded as a major leap in the localization of nuclear power in China. The two units have been started on April 28 last year and January 28 this year respectively, the construction scale of two 65 million kilowatt PWR nuclear power units, this is the first nuclear power project started in China during the "11th Five-Year Plan "period, Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan personally visited the scene, and personally started the cloth machine command button. At present, the project is progressing smoothly, it is expected that the containment dome will be hoisted in place by the end of this year, and Unit 3 will formally enter the installation stage of the equipment. The equipment ordering situation fully shows that 70% of the equipment localization rate determined by the state is completely achievable. The two units are scheduled for commercial operation in early 2011 and early 2012, respectively.

Taizhong Group takes advantage of the rare opportunity to actively promote the construction of nuclear power and the localization of nuclear power equipment, and is committed to leading the localization of nuclear power lifting equipment. With its own research and development experience and manufacturing advantages of more than 50 years of large cranes, it became the first enterprise in China to undertake the manufacturing task of ring cranes for large nuclear power plants through bidding procedures on June 25,2005. The equipment has a track diameter of 35.4 m and a lifting weight of 190 190 tons, lifting height 42 meters, special design requirements, complex manufacturing process, high accuracy, reliability and safety requirements. Taking into account the special characteristics of nuclear power lifting equipment, we have developed the basic design scheme and the construction design scheme independently. In the process of production and manufacture, large to track, electronic control equipment, small to gap docking, raw material selection, too heavy and highly responsible attitude of continuous research and analysis, carry out special subject experiments, further improve the safety performance, make the operation more stable, improve the accuracy of hoisting position. At the same time, in order to check the quality and performance of the ring crane and ensure the safety and reliability of the field use, it is too important to build a special bench for the large ring crane test in the factory, simulate the field working conditions, carry out the load test before leaving the factory, and find out the problems that may appear in the process of handling the design and manufacture in time. After more than two years of unremitting efforts, too heavy production of the ring crane with factory shipping conditions, will be "boutique" in front of users.

From the world's first three gorges 1200-ton bridge crane, to asia's largest 480-ton metallurgical casting crane, too heavy group's large crane equipment in recent years to dominate the domestic hydropower, metallurgical field, won the "china famous brand" products. The successful development of the first domestic ring crane for the second phase expansion project of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant will certainly play an important role in promoting the overall localization of nuclear power equipment in China.
